Residential crime, which most servers never actually build

Store robberies and bank heists are everywhere. Housebreaking is rarer, and it is the loop that fits a two-person crew on a quiet evening better than anything else. This script is a full implementation of it, and it is free.

Getting in

Locating a house comes first, then entry: lockpicking, then the alarm and laser systems inside. Powder reveals the lasers. A laptop handles the hacking. Safes have to be cracked, and rooms have to be physically searched rather than looted from a single prompt. A duffle bag carries what you find, with prop carrying so the haul is visible on your character.

What is in the box

  • 29 items with icons.
  • 3 preconfigured house interiors, across multiple locations.
  • A mission system.
  • Buying and selling for the goods.
  • Alarm sound and dispatch integration.
  • Target or TextUI interaction, whichever your server uses.
  • Fully synchronised between players.

Dependencies

  • Frameworks: ESX, QB.
  • Target: qtarget, qb-target or ox_target.
  • Input: ox_lib or qb-input.
  • Context: ox_lib or qb-menu.
  • Also required: ox_lib, pd-safe, mka-lasers, a lockpick minigame, howdy-hackminigame, xsound (with the interact-sound emulator) or interactsound, and an IPL resource such as bob74_ipl.

That list is longer than most free scripts, and worth checking against what you already run before you start.
