Petty crime is what fills the hours between heists

A server with only major crime has a participation problem: heists need crews, crews need scheduling, and most sessions are one person with forty minutes. Smash 'n Grab fills that gap by making every parked NPC vehicle a small decision, with real consequences attached.

How it works

Loot spawns inside NPC vehicles. You control the odds it spawns at all, which items and models can appear, and you can set different loot tables per vehicle class, per specific model, and per in-game location. Loot appears in different seats, and bigger crates can spawn in moving vehicles such as pickup trucks. Items may be openable and lootable in their own right, and rewards can be items, money or both.

The risk layer

This is what separates it from a looting script. NPCs react: they will alert police, or fight the player if the vehicle is theirs. Built-in minigames gate the break-in itself. You can require a minimum number of police online before loot spawns at all, which is the single most useful setting for keeping crime tied to consequence.

Dispatch integration is included, with built-in support plus compatibility for cd-dispatch, core-dispatch and ps-dispatch through kq_link.

Why it stays cheap

The script spawns no networked entities, which keeps it clear of the networked entity limit that quietly breaks busy servers. Loot is still synchronised by the resource itself, so every player sees the same contents.

Interaction

Supports 3D text, target and interact systems, so it uses whatever your server already standardised on.

Compatibility

Standalone and framework-agnostic: ESX, QBCore, Qbox, VRP, or no framework at all. Requires kq_link, the creator's open-source bridge for connecting resources to whichever inventory, notification or dispatch system you run.
