Somewhere to put a car that should not be in a garage
A stolen vehicle is a problem: the public garage will not take it, and leaving it parked means losing it. Hideouts solves that specific gap, which is why it pairs so naturally with a boosting or chop-shop economy. Purchasable locations across the map, in different sizes, where personal and stolen vehicles alike can be stored.
What persists
Stored vehicles are saved to the database with their upgrades, fuel level and damage, including visual damage, which is reapplied on retrieval. A car that went in dented comes out dented.
Inside the hideout
Players can repair and wash stored vehicles on site. They can also bring friends in, by driving in with passengers, which quietly makes a hideout a crew space rather than personal storage.
Sharing and access
- Set a password so others can use a hideout, including while the owner is offline.
- Configure hideouts for jobs, so everyone holding that job has access.
- Optionally prevent players storing vehicles owned by other players.
- Blacklist vehicle classes, so emergency vehicles cannot be hidden.
- Vehicles too large for a given hideout simply will not fit, which is handled physically rather than by a list.
Integration
An API file exposes functions that fire on script events, so your own resources can react when a vehicle is stored or retrieved.
One honest note
The "sell" option visible in the showcase video was a placeholder. The script does not currently support selling a hideout.
Performance
0.00ms at idle.
Compatibility
ESX and QBCore, with all framework and dependency code editable for custom setups.
