A building block rather than a finished feature

Most looting scripts decide what NPCs drop and hand you a config file. This one is designed to be driven by your other resources: alongside per-group and per-model loot tables, it exposes an export that takes an entity ID, so any script you run can set a custom drop on a specific ped at the moment it spawns one.

That is what makes it useful beyond its own feature list. Your gang script can make its enforcers drop gang items. Your event script can make one particular NPC carry the thing the story needs.

Loot definition

Three levels, from broad to specific:

  • By ped group. Gangs, animals, businessmen and so on.
  • By ped model. Zombie models, for instance, if your server runs an event.
  • By entity, at runtime. Through the export, for a single specific ped.

Loot can be money, items, or both, and drops as a physical prop the player collects with a smooth pickup animation.

Death or ragdoll

Optionally, peds drop loot when they ragdoll rather than only when they die. That sounds minor and changes the feel considerably: it makes non-lethal takedowns worth attempting.

Performance

0.00ms idle, 0.01ms near a dropped item, rising somewhat while 3D text is being rendered.

Compatibility

ESX and QBCore. All framework and dependency code is editable, so adapting it to a custom inventory or notification system is straightforward rather than blocked.
