A traversal verb the game does not have

Bicycles, scooters, quads and jet skis in GTA are all constrained by the same thing: you cannot leave them mid-motion. Adding a jump changes what those vehicles are for. Couriers take shortcuts. Stunt riders have something to practise. And chases on two wheels stop ending at the first fence.

How it plays

While moving, press G to enter jump mode. Hold left or right mouse button to charge a jump in that direction, and release to commit. Timing is the whole skill, and a mistimed jump puts you on the pavement.

Auto-jump is the assisted version: in jump mode, look at a vehicle travelling at a similar speed and direction, and if it is within range a keybind hint appears to press E. It makes the jump easier rather than guaranteed, so the player still has to choose the moment. The whole auto-jump feature can be disabled in config.lua if you want the unassisted version only.

What you can do once you land

Land on vehicle roofs, then walk and hold on while the vehicle is moving. Hard acceleration, hard braking or a crash will throw you off. You can also break through windows and get inside.

Configuration

Jumping can be enabled per vehicle or per vehicle class, and the whole thing is extensively configurable.

Performance

0.00ms at idle.

Compatibility

Standalone with no framework required, and working on ESX, QBCore, Qbox, VRP or nothing at all.
